Next week (Thursday 18th September) is our first practical session of the new season and we're looking at Software. (This is also competition closing week, so the mount board cutter will available for everyone to use!)
Practical evenings can be hugely rewarding, so it's important that we focus of aspects of software that YOU want to learn about.
Post in the comments below what you want to see.
Maybe Lightroom is your thing, or even Photoshop, but if you want to get stuck into Apple's Aperture, Pixelmator, or Corel's PaintShop Pro, then you need to shout out and ask.
It could be you want to figure software for HDR or it could be that you've just started taking pictures in RAW and you don't know what to do with them. This is the evening to bring your software questions, woes and ambitions.
You should bring laptops if you have them or images on a memory stick if you have a specific question relating to your own images.
In the past, these sessions have centred around 'Introduction' and 'Beginners' workshops. So that we don't repeat the same thing every time, we also want to start producing videos on the 'basics'. in due course we'll create a YouTube channel for the club.
If you'd like to see video's specifically produced on any photographic content, not just software, then please also leave those in the comments below.
Thanks and see you next week.
