This week - Practical portrait photography

This week we'll be looking at portraiture using studio lights and speed lights.

Colin Mill has volunteered to take people through setting up the studio lights and their use. Two sessions (before and after the break) with 5 people in each session. Everyone gets to shoot and everyone will get a turn at being the model! This way, everyone will end up with at least 4 images of 4 different people.

Iain will be offering a practical session showing off speed lights and their usage too!

Please bring your cameras and speed lights, as well as any light modifiers you may have that you would like to show off, or ask questions about.

If you want to get ahead of the game, check out this speed lights tutorial or this 7 step plan on studio lights

All in all, a very good show with some really professional and thought provoking, educational presentations. Thanks to all who entered and came along to see our new venue!
