Bedfordshire Inter-Club Invitation Competition results

Milton Keynes City Photographic Society is delighted to announce our retention of both the Bedfordshire Annual Interclub Digital Image Competition Trophy and the Best Individual Image (Greiveson) Trophy in last night’s competition.

There were a total of 66 images from 11 clubs:

Bedford, Stevenage, Biggleswade, Luton, Harpenden, Ampthill , Rushden, Shillington, Leighton Buzzard, Kempston and us, MKCPS

The competition was judged in rather a fine manner by Alison Jenkins. While MKCPS were clear of the opposition, the second place trophy had to be awarded only after a tiebreak, to Harpenden. Our overall score was 110 out of a possible 120 which made our average score 18.3!! I apologise as I was only aiming for 17-18!

Scores on our submissions were as follows:

  1. 01 Porcelain Fungus by Jamie White - 18

  2. 02 Short Eared Owl in Flight by Neil Schofield - 19

  3. 03 Trawler by Keith Millard - 20

  4. 04 Warrior by Simon Raynor - 18

  5. 05 The Lightship, Tollesbury by Alison Millard - 17

  6. 06 Land Girl by Colin Mill - 18
